South African Plains Game Package including
Darted Rhino & Elephant
for
Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and other species
Season:
April - October
Unlike other booking agents we tend to use a South African Hunting Safari, not for first timers, but for returning game collectors. But you certainly can go to South Africa for African plains game hunting. With that said, more people go on South African Hunting Safaris than hunt any other country. Most are coming on a plains game package Hunt. For most first timers you can hunt your primary wish list at Sentinel in Zimbabwe for the same price, and then return for certain plains game species such as black wildebeest, blesbok, red hartebeest, springbuck and gemsbok. It's also the best place to dart a rhino and now even an elephant, saving you money and the species. Almost all properties are high fenced, and not all species are found on one property. This necessitates a little moving around.

You will find the trophy quality excellent and the hunts to be fair chase. We have two very reliable professional hunters that we use to conduct the hunts; one is even a guide for us in the off-season at Burnt Pine Plantation. The lodging is up to our standards, in fact we always make a plan to spend a night at one of them each visit to Africa on the way to Zim.

A word of caution, since there are so many operators in the country either book your hunt through an agent or get client references before you deposit your hunt.
